Big Books of Payroll
There are only two on the market that are comprehensive,
single-volume books. Every payroll department should have one or
the other...preferably both.
I purchase a new one on alternate years. That way you get
different interpretations of the law. And there ARE different
interpretations.
My preferred book is the Principles of Payroll Administration, from RIA

The other one is The Payroll Source, from the American
