The Payroll Mission Statement

Everyone wants a mission statement these days.
And I don't think that's a bad thing. But mission statements need to
be clear, concise, and straightforward. If you're looking for one
for your payroll department, I offer my suggestion.
The mission of the Payroll Department is to:
1. Deliver an accurate check to employees in a
timely manner by
A. accurately calculating gross wages and
deductions; and
B. delivering the paycheck to the employee on
payday and when legally required to do so.
2. Properly complete internal and external reports
